I have a Special interest in Pre & Post Natal Massage and Massage as part of recovery from physical or emotional trauma. |
What is your approach and philosophy to healing and your work?
My passion for people led me to become a professional counsellor. By working with people and their emotions I realised how traumatic experiences can become physical problems when they are not dealt with in a healthy way. This was the reason I entered into a course to become a professional massage therapist.
My approach to working with people is to meet them where they are at in an environment where they can feel safe, respected and accepted. I place a lot of emphasis on caring and nurturing as I believe this has a healing and restoring effect on physical and emotional aspects of your life.

What does a regular treatment involve?
When I work with you in a Counselling session I like us to explore in what ways an issue affects your relationships, your performance, physical and emotional health. I use a variety of techniques and believe that the most valuable factor is the interaction between us.
When you come to see me for a Massage, we will discuss any health issues or concerns and whether you are here for a relaxing experience or a more therapeutic session.

How long will it take before I see a result?
Usually people find that after the initial appointment they already feel much better, which improves even more with each session.
