What is your approach and philosophy to healing and your work?
I’m a great believer that stress is a major factor with our body, in terms of any “dis- ease” we are experiencing – from mild to chronic - and the ability to first relax is the key to beginning the journey to recovery or balance.
Reflexology provides me with the tools to encourage the body to return to its own natural balance and optimal health. It is quite amazing what our bodies are capable of when given the right conditions.

What does a regular treatment involve?
Your first appointment involves a full consultation – taking into account medical history etc. It is then followed by a wonderfully relaxing treatment with the feet only. This can take up to 1 1/2hrs.
Sessions thereafter include a brief consult before beginning a treatment. These sessions run for 1hr.

How long will it take before I see a result?
The timing of results largely depends upon your condition or reason for coming.
For fertility, I encourage clients to allow a minimum of 6 months before wanting to conceive – to provide us with the maximum benefits of balancing all the hormones and anything else that may need to be addressed, such as healthy eating etc. Bearing in mind if you are ovulating once a month (not every one does) then this is only 6 cycles – so a short time in the scheme of things.
For Maternity clients suffering with pelvic problems, or some of the more usual pregnancy complaints from nausea, tenderness etc, results can be felt within the first week.
For problems with sleep, again results can be felt very quickly.
It all depends on what has brought you to the clinic.

Can I claim through private health insurance?
Yes. I am a Professional Member with the Reflexology Association of Australia and I am covered by most health funds. Check with your insurance to see if you can receive a rebate.
