Common Questions

Answers before you ask.

When should I engage a conveyancer?
Ideally before you sign anything. Having your contract reviewed before you commit means risks, special conditions and key dates are identified while you still have room to negotiate. If you have already signed, engage us as soon as possible so nothing is missed early.
How does settlement work in Western Australia?
Almost all WA settlements now occur electronically through PEXA, the national digital settlement platform. We manage the entire process: preparing documents, coordinating with banks and the other party's representative, and completing settlement on the scheduled date.
How long does a typical settlement take?
The settlement date is set by your contract, most commonly four to six weeks from acceptance. Off-the-plan and subdivision matters run on longer timeframes. Whatever the timeline, we manage every key date so you never have to chase.
Do you handle off-the-plan purchases and subdivisions?
Yes. Both are specialties of ours. These matters involve more complex contracts, extended timeframes and additional regulatory requirements, which is exactly where careful, founder-led oversight earns its keep.
What will it cost?
We quote a transparent professional fee up front once we understand your matter, so there are no surprises. Send through a short enquiry and we will come back to you with a clear proposal, usually within one business day.
